Application tips
Wet the hair through, then apply at the scalp only, in four or five spots, and massage outwards from there. The lengths get cleaned by whatever runs down them.
Two washes when there is buildup, one when there is not. Rinse for longer than feels necessary. Keep the hair hanging down rather than piling it on top of the head, or it knots as you work.
Results
Cleans properly without leaving hair squeaking, which is the balance dry and damaged hair needs from a shampoo. The scalp comes out fresh instead of tight.
Hair feels stronger under the fingers while still wet, and the ends look less frayed after a few washes. Frizz and snapping calm down once the wash step stops making them worse.
