The rest of the No.241 is a standard styling comb with rounded, evenly spaced teeth, so it will comb out a section without scoring the strands and it will lay hair flat for a braid or a set. Between the two ends it handles most of a styling session. Part, section, comb, place, repeat.
Wet or dry, and fine to coily. The metal tip is sharp enough to be precise, so keep the pressure off the scalp when you are parting close to the skin.

Application tips
Rest the tail against the scalp and draw it towards you in one continuous movement rather than a series of short scratches, which is what produces a wobbly parting. Anchor the loose side with your other hand as you go.
For sectioning a wet head, comb the area smooth first so the tail has a flat surface to travel across. Wipe the metal dry after use so it stays clean.
