Beautiful Beginnings is Dark and Lovely's range for young hair, and the detangler is the product that range exists for. Fine, soft baby curls knot at the roots and at the nape, and they are attached to someone with no patience for any of it.
The 250 ml bottle is a leave-in. Natural oils soften the strand, conditioning polymers smooth the surface so a comb slides rather than catches, and moisturising agents hold water in the hair through the day so it does not tangle straight back up by the afternoon. Nothing about it is heavy, which matters on hair this fine.
Apply generously to the areas that knot most, work it in with your fingers, then comb from the ends upwards. It suits curl types 2a through 3c and it is as useful on adult hair as it is on a child's, particularly if you are detangling a lot of it at once.

Application tips
Get the hair damp first. A dry knot in fine hair will still fight you, however much product is on it.
Separate the biggest tangles by hand before any tool touches the head. Then a wide tooth comb, short strokes, holding the section above where you are working so the pull lands on your hand instead of the scalp. Rewet a stubborn patch rather than adding more product.
Results
Tangles let go with a fraction of the pull, so the whole job takes minutes instead of turning into a standoff. Hair stays soft afterwards and has not re-knotted itself by teatime.
Nothing about the finish is heavy, so fine curls keep their movement rather than hanging in strings. Fewer broken strands end up in the comb, which is the quiet benefit over months.
