Daily use is fine and expected. The aloe is the reason it spreads more easily than a straight jelly across skin that is already sore from rubbing, and the vitamin E is why it feels more like a balm than a coating.

Application tips
Use it after a bath while skin is still slightly damp, so it traps that water rather than sealing over dryness. A pea-sized amount covers a cheek or a pair of hands.
At nappy changes, a thin layer over clean, dry skin. Adults get use out of it on cuticles, heels and lips in winter. Warm it first if the tub has been sitting in a cold room.
Results
The jelly base keeps water where it is, and the aloe stops the whole thing feeling as heavy as plain petroleum jelly. Skin comes out soft rather than tacky.
