This one takes the standard petroleum jelly base and works aloe vera and vitamin E through it, so it holds moisture in the way a plain jelly does while feeling considerably less waxy going on. Use it on dry patches, on the nappy area, and anywhere clothing rubs through the day.
Daily use is fine and expected. The aloe is the reason it spreads more easily than a straight jelly across skin that is already sore from rubbing, and the vitamin E is why it feels more like a balm than a coating.
It doubles as a light styling aid on baby hair. A fingertip smoothed over the top tames flyaways and adds a little shine without setting hard, which makes it genuinely useful on wavy hair and early curl patterns. The 368g tub covers a long stretch of the first year.
