Manuka honey is a humectant, which means it pulls water out of the air and into whatever it is sitting on. On hair that works in your favour most of the time and against you in very dry conditions, which is why it is almost always paired with an oil. Sofn'free pair it with avocado.
That combination is the whole logic of this conditioner. Honey brings the moisture in, avocado oil is fatty enough to seal it, and hair that has been dry and dull comes back soft with some shine to it. It also gives the formula enough slip to matter at the detangling stage, so knots come apart instead of being dragged through, and that is where most of the breakage in a wash routine actually happens. Use it after shampoo, from mid-lengths to ends, and give it a minute or two before rinsing. It suits type 2a through 3c hair that runs dry, and it is a sensible everyday choice rather than a once-a-month treatment.

Application tips
Squeeze the excess water out after shampooing, then take it through from the ears down, coating the hair rather than massaging it in.
Detangle while it is sitting there, fingers first and a wide-tooth comb second. Two or three minutes does it, longer when the ends are rough. Rinse in cool water so the cuticle closes down flat.
Results
Hair comes out padded rather than squeaky, and rough ends stop looking parched within a wash or two. Combing takes a fraction of the effort, and less tugging means fewer strands left in the teeth.
