Application tips
Wash first, then apply to wet hair while it is still in the bath or shower, since warm wet hair lets it spread. Work through in four sections with your hands.
Take a wide-tooth comb from the ends upward, holding above the knot so you are not pulling at the scalp. Leave it a few minutes, then rinse. On very tangled hair, leave a little in and comb again as it dries.
Results
Combing stops being the worst part of wash day. Knots slide apart instead of holding, so there is less pulling, fewer tears and noticeably less hair left behind in the teeth.
Afterwards the hair is soft and behaves itself. It can be parted, plaited or tied without a struggle. The oils leave a light shine and stop the ends going dry and rough between washes, which is where the breakage usually starts.
