Application tips
Wash and towel the hair until it stops dripping, then squeeze a ten pence sized pool into your palm for shoulder length. Rub your hands together so it warms and spreads instead of landing in one cold blob.
Start at the ends, which knot worst, and take it up towards the roots only on the driest heads. Give the nape its own pass, because that is where a day of running about leaves the tightest knots.
Results
Knots come apart in stages rather than ripping, which takes the dread out of the after bath comb. Hair dries with some bounce left in it instead of lying flat and slick.
Ponytails and puffs go up cleaner because the strands are not fighting one another. If the ends look thirsty the next morning, a small amount on dry hair refreshes them without building up.
