Manuka honey and avocado oil is a sensible pairing for dry hair, because they work at different depths. The honey holds water in the strand, and the avocado oil softens and seals so it does not evaporate straight back out.
Sofn'free built this as a deep conditioning mask rather than a rinse-out, which means giving it a few minutes rather than a few seconds. On dry, damaged and dull hair the shift is softness first, manageability second and shine third, roughly in that order over a couple of uses.
It is aimed at natural and chemically treated hair, which is the group dealing with dryness and breakage at the same time. Wavy through curly textures, 2a to 3c. Apply to washed hair, work it through the lengths, leave it, then rinse.

Application tips
Shampoo, squeeze the water out, then apply. Wet hair dilutes it and you lose half the mask down the drain. Work it from an inch below the root to the ends, section by section, and comb through with a wide-tooth so it reaches everything.
Leave it five to ten minutes, longer under a cap if the hair is very dry. Rinse in cool water until the hair stops feeling slippery. Once a week is the rhythm.
Results
The change you can feel straight out of the shower is in how the hair bends. Straw-like lengths go pliable, and a comb moves through without catching every couple of inches.
Colour-treated and relaxed hair takes the most from it, since that is the hair carrying the most damage. Rinsed out properly it does not flatten curls, and the effect holds for several days before things start feeling dry again.
