Sof n Free pair coconut oil with Jamaican black castor oil, so you get the lighter, more mobile oil and the thick, sealing one in the same bottle. Coconut oil moves into the strand itself, black castor oil stays on the surface and holds moisture in. Together they leave damaged or dry hair feeling firmer under the fingers and less prone to snapping when you comb.

Application tips
Three or four drops in the palm, warmed between your hands, then pressed onto the ends of damp hair as the last thing you do after a leave-in or cream.
For the scalp, part in rows and use fingertips, once or twice a week rather than daily. It is a small, concentrated bottle, so the usual mistake is using too much and ending up flat. Start with less than feels right.
Results
Ends look less see-through and less frayed, and a comb runs through them with far less resistance, which is where the breakage was coming from in the first place.
Hair feels firmer between the fingers rather than limp. On the scalp it takes the tightness out of dry skin without leaving roots greasy, provided you stick to a few drops. Shine builds over a week or so rather than immediately.
