Application tips
Plait your own hair flat first, or use a wig cap, so the base sits smooth under the coils. Position the front about a finger's width behind your natural hairline and secure the combs before the straps.
Pick it out from underneath rather than combing from the top, which is how the shape stays round. Wash it as you would your own, on a stand, and let it dry fully before you pick it out again.
Results
The coil pattern reads as type four hair at close range, so the join at the temples does not announce itself. Its size comes from the curl itself, not from teasing, which is why it holds a round shape all day.
