Hydrolysed keratin, silk protein and wheat protein all go in. Application tips
Wash first, then squeeze the water out until the hair stops dripping. Take a walnut sized amount, more for long hair, and work it in from the ends up. Comb it through so every strand is covered.
Ten minutes, capped or wrapped in a towel. Rinse until the hair squeaks slightly, which for a protein treatment is the right endpoint. Once a week at most, fortnightly if hair starts feeling brittle.
Results
Bleached, relaxed or heat worn hair stops giving up fragments every time you handle it. Strands stretch under a comb rather than breaking, and the brush comes out clean.
Gloss and softness show up immediately and are the obvious change. The useful one is slower: over processed hair starts holding together through styling instead of falling apart by midweek.
