Taking a unit out leaves a mess behind. Adhesive along the hairline, bonding glue in the hair, weeks of product sitting where you could not reach to wash it. A normal shampoo will not shift that, and scrubbing at it is how hairlines get damaged.
This one is built for the job. It dissolves wig glue, lace adhesive and styling build-up so the residue lifts rather than being scraped off, and it is sulfate-free, so the deep clean does not leave your own hair stripped and brittle underneath it.
Tea tree oil does the clarifying, borage seed oil looks after the scalp and aloe vera settles things afterwards. It works on the hair you grow and on the units themselves, which makes it a reasonable single bottle for anyone rotating between wigs and weaves.
Use it on takedown day, before you condition. Two washes is normal if the adhesive has been on a while, the first to break the residue down and the second to actually clean the hair. Follow with a proper conditioner or a masque, because your own hair has been under a unit and will want it. 13 oz / 384 ml.

Application tips
Takedown day, before any conditioner goes near it. Wet the hair through, then apply along the hairline and press it into the adhesive rather than rubbing at it. Give it a minute to soften the glue, then lather out through the lengths.
Rinse and repeat if anything still feels tacky. Two rounds is normal after a long install. Follow with a mask, because a deep clean always leaves hair wanting something back.
Results
Glue lifts instead of pilling, and the hairline comes out clean without a comb being dragged along it. Weeks of gel, spray and oil come off in the same wash, so hair that felt coated feels like hair again.
Because there are no sulphates in it, the clean stops short of stripping. Your own hair is left soft rather than squeaking, and the scalp feels calm rather than tight.
