Monoi oil is coconut oil that has had tiare flowers steeped in it, a Polynesian method rather than a modern one, and it gives this masque a scent people either buy it for or notice immediately. Tahitian noni sits alongside it, with certified organic shea butter underneath doing the heavy conditioning.
The texture is rich. It coats thickly, which is what you want on hair that has been coloured, blown out or simply neglected, and it holds enough slip to get a comb through in sections.
