Wavy and loosely curly hair has a particular frizz problem: not enough curl to clump on its own, dry enough to lift at the surface. This shampoo is aimed squarely at that, and the frizz work starts at the wash rather than being left to whatever goes on afterwards.
Glycerin and aloe barbadensis leaf juice do the hydrating, fair trade shea butter adds the richer conditioning, and papaya and neroli give it the scent. The formula smooths the cuticle down and leaves a light barrier behind, which is what stops humidity getting in and lifting the surface again by lunchtime.
It cleans properly without stripping, so it holds up as a regular wash-day shampoo rather than an occasional treatment. Two washes is worth doing if there is a lot of product to shift, the first to break it up and the second to actually clean. 13 oz / 384 ml.
