Low porosity hair has a tightly packed cuticle, so water and product tend to sit on the surface rather than soak in. That is why so many rich, buttery shampoos leave this hair type feeling coated by the second day. This one is built the other way round, as a sulphate-free wash, 13 oz / 384 ml of it, that hydrates without leaving anything behind.
The formula uses certified organic shea butter with grape seed oil and tea tree oil. Shea butter conditions, grape seed keeps the whole thing light, and tea tree leaves the scalp feeling clean. There is no added protein, which matters if your curls stiffen up every time a protein treatment goes near them.

Application tips
Soak the hair properly before the shampoo goes on. Low porosity strands repel water at first, and a shampoo applied to half-wet hair will not spread.
Use a small amount at the scalp and work it in with your fingertips.
Skip a second wash unless you have been using heavy creams, and rinse until nothing feels slippery. Residue is the whole problem this formula was built to avoid, so leaving any behind wastes what you paid for.
Results
The scalp feels genuinely clean and stays that way longer than it does after a richer wash. Hair dries without the coated, second-day heaviness that low porosity textures usually get from a moisturising shampoo.
Curls keep their volume. Since there is no protein in it, hair that normally goes stiff and straw-like after a treatment comes out soft instead.
