High porosity hair takes water in fast and loses it just as fast. The cuticle sits open, usually after colour, heat or years of handling, and the result is hair that feels dry within hours of a wash no matter how much conditioner went on.
This masque is built for that specific problem. It is a deep treatment rather than a rinse-out conditioner, so it stays on long enough to get moisture into the strand, then leaves a protective layer behind to slow the loss. Over-processed, chemically treated and heat-damaged hair are the intended targets.
Use it in place of your conditioner on wash day, once a week to begin with, and give it real time on the hair. Rinse with cool water at the end, which helps the cuticle lie flatter. 11 oz / 325 ml.

Application tips
Squeeze the excess water out first. A masque cannot get into a strand that is already full of water, and hair that is dripping will dilute it to nothing.
Four parts, a generous scoop each, worked from the ends up. Clip it up, put a cap over the top and let body heat do the rest. Then rinse it all out, with no conditioner after.
Results
Strands that were drinking water and losing it within the hour hold onto it for longer.
Hair feels heavier in the hand, softer at the ends, and stops that papery roughness that comes with an open cuticle. Detangling gets easier because there is something on the strand for a comb to move through.
Colour that had gone flat looks richer once the surface is smooth again, and the difference is still there two or three days after the wash.
