A jelly does two jobs depending on how you use it. Rake it through wet curls and it clumps them into definition. Brush it back with a soft brush and it gives you the slick ponytail or the neat bun that stays neat until bath time.
The formula is the usual Coconut & Hibiscus set: coconut oil, hibiscus flower and Fair Trade shea butter, with no parabens, phthalates, mineral oil or petrolatum. The hold is firm but it does not go glassy, so a child can touch their hair without it crackling.
It also washes out with an ordinary shampoo, so nobody is scrubbing at the roots on a Sunday night trying to shift the last of it.
The 12 oz / 355 ml tub is the size to buy if you are styling two or three heads a week. Suits type 2 through 3b children's hair, wavy or curly, wherever the daily battle is with frizz.
