A souffle is whipped, which changes how a gel behaves in your hands. It spreads further, it does not go stringy, and on thick hair that usually eats product you can cover a full head with less than you would use of a standard gel.

Application tips
A whipped gel spreads further than it looks like it should, so start with less than usual. Distribute it with open fingers through each soaking section, then cup and squeeze upward.
Leave it alone while it dries. For a firmer set, layer it over a leave-in instead of adding a second helping of gel. Break the surface up with your fingers once the hair is dry.
Results
