Application tips
Wring out the excess, then apply in four sections, ends first, coating each one properly before you move on. Twist each section out of the way as you finish it.
Leave it in while you do everything else in the shower. Detangle each twist with a wide-tooth comb before you take it down, and rinse one section at a time so the others keep their slip.
Results
Detangling in sections becomes possible rather than punishing, and what comes away in the comb is loose hair rather than broken ends.
