Application tips
Straight onto a dry scalp before you get in the shower. Work it in with the pads of your fingers, then take what is left down the lengths and squeeze it into the ends. It behaves like an oil going on, so a shower cap over the top keeps it off your collar while it sits. Shampoo it out afterwards.
Results
The scalp is where the difference shows first. It comes out of a wash balanced rather than greasy or squeaking, and the turmeric leaves a warm, earthy smell that goes in the rinse.
Hair holds more of its moisture through the shampoo. Frizz sits lower on dense 4c texture than it usually does after a wash, and knots give up more easily.
