Application tips
Read the leaflet in the box before you open anything, and do a strand test first.
Hair should be unwashed, since scalp oil is what protects the skin while it processes. Apply the creme to dry hair, keep it off the scalp, and time it by the clock rather than by feel. Rinse, then use the neutralising shampoo that comes with it, which is the step that stops the process.
Results
The curl or wave already in the hair opens out into a looser pattern, so what was tight and hard to comb becomes something a brush can move through. Short cuts hold a wave or a curl fade rather than fighting it. The box finishes with a spray, a gel and a moisturising lotion, so the styling and the aftercare are covered in the same purchase.
