SCurl Curl & Wave Jel Activator 6oz
This is the standard-strength SCurl activator, for hair that needs more moisture than the Lite version gives. If your curls drink everything you put on them and still look dry by the afternoon, start here.
The formula is glycerin-led, with hydrolysed collagen and panthenol in the mix, plus argan and olive oil derivatives to smooth the surface. It defines the curl pattern on natural or texturised hair, holds shrinkage down so the style hangs longer, and adds shine without a greasy film. Paraben-free.
Work a palmful between your hands and massage it through damp or dry hair from root to end. Finish with fingers, a styling comb or a plastic bristle brush, then air dry or diffuse on low.
Suits type 2a through 4a. The 6oz is the smaller of the two sizes, so if you are refreshing daily the 10.5oz bottle works out better.

Application tips
Apply it to hair that is still properly wet, straight out of the shower, and you will get more definition than you will on damp.
Smooth it down each section with flat palms, then cup the ends and scrunch upward until you hear it. Let it dry undisturbed. If you diffuse, keep the heat low and stop as soon as the surface is dry rather than chasing every last bit of water.
Results

Hair feels moisturised rather than coated, and the shine is soft. On hair that runs chronically dry the difference shows most on day two, when the curls still have a pattern rather than needing a full rewet.
