Application tips
Porous hair takes it best on damp strands, so apply after rinsing while the cuticle is still open. A small amount through the mid-lengths, then whatever is left on the palms goes onto the ends.
For a treatment, coat dry hair the night before a wash and cover. Do not use it as a finishing oil on fine hair; it will read as greasy within a couple of hours.
Results
Softness that lasts past the second day. Avocado gets inside the strand rather than coating it, so hair that normally feels rough by midweek stays pliable.
Detangling takes less effort and fewer short pieces come away in the comb. Colour-treated hair holds its condition better with it in the routine. On the scalp it is mild enough to use before every wash.
