Lavender is the one you use at night. This 3.5 oz blend is scaled for that: a small bottle of Lavandula angustifolia already mixed into carrier oils, kept on the bedside table rather than in the bathroom.
It goes onto the scalp straight from the bottle, and the scent is soft enough that it will not keep you awake or sit heavily on a pillowcase. Fine hair through to coily hair can use it, which is not true of every oil in the range.

Application tips
Small bottle, so use it as a nightly habit rather than a weekly treatment. Three or four drops onto the fingertips, pressed along the partings, then a slow massage while you are sitting down.
Cover with a bonnet so the pillow stays clean. On wash day you can use more and leave it on for an hour. Shake before pouring, since blends settle in the bottle.
Results
Quiet on every front. The scent is soft and familiar rather than sharp, so it belongs in an evening routine in a way peppermint never will.
The scalp feels comfortable and less dry the following morning, and the ends take a small amount without going limp. Fine hair copes with it, unlike some of the heavier oils in the range.
