Safah's version is pressed from Ethiopian Nigella sativa seeds. Thymoquinone and the essential fatty acids in the seed are what the oil is known for, and this one has been blended so it goes onto the scalp and lengths without further dilution.
Most people use it once or twice a week before shampooing, massaged into the scalp in sections and left for half an hour. It conditions the lengths properly and adds slip where hair tends to snap during combing. Every texture can use it, a little goes further than you expect, and the scent fades once the hair is washed and dry. Keep it in a dark cupboard rather than on a sunny windowsill.
