Safah's has blended the clove bud essential oil into carrier oils and bottled it at 8.5 oz, so it is ready for the scalp without further dilution. Eugenol, the compound clove is known for, is also the reason to patch test before a full application. Start with a small amount along one parting and give it a day.
Applied sparingly it works as a pre-wash scalp oil, and whatever is left on your palms is enough for the ends. Denser textures that can carry a richer oil will suit it best, though there is no reason looser curls cannot use it in smaller amounts.
