Made for 3b through 4c hair, and the format says so. A tub of butter is what you reach for when a cream is not enough and an oil slides straight off, which is usually the case on coils that lose moisture within a day of washing.
Cocoa butter and shea butter carry the 425g tub between them. The cocoa butter brings firmness and the seal, the shea brings softness, and between them you get something that melts on contact and stays in the hair instead of evaporating out of it. Frizz drops, shine comes up, and strands stop catching on each other, which is where less breakage comes from over time.
Scoop a little, warm it between your palms until it turns to oil, then smooth it over damp hair in sections. It is a sealing step, so it goes on after your leave-in, not instead of it. It also does a good job on the perimeter of braids and twists, keeping them tidy between washes.

Application tips
Scoop a small amount and warm it between your palms until it turns to oil, then it will spread. On damp hair, smooth it over the lengths in four or six sections and twist or braid each one as you go.
On dry hair, a fingertip's worth is plenty for ends and edges. Heavy hands leave a coating, so build up gradually rather than starting big.
Results
Softness that holds past wash day. The butter seals the cuticle so moisture stays put, which shows up as less frizz on the second and third morning rather than a dramatic difference on the first.
Twist-outs set with more definition and ends look less ragged. Sheen sits low and natural, closer to conditioned hair than to a gloss product. Coarse and dry textures get the most from it.
