Wave training is mostly repetition. You brush, you cover, you sleep, you brush again. The cover is the part people skimp on, and it is the part that decides whether the pattern you spent twenty minutes on is still there in the morning.

The HD04 is a royal blue durag in silky satin, cut wide across the panel so the compression sits evenly instead of digging a line across the forehead. Satin has very little grab, so hair slides against it rather than catching, and the ties let you set the tension yourself. Anyone with waves in progress will get the most from it, though it works just as well over cornrows, twists or a fresh press.

Put it on straight after brushing, while the hair is still laid in the direction you want it. If you are wearing it under a cap during the day, check the front panel is flat before you pull anything over the top, because a fold in the fabric will print into the hair the same way a seam does.
