Most durags get worn indoors. Navy is the one that goes out with you, dark enough to read as neutral under a hood or a cap but not the flat black that everybody else already owns.
Underneath the colour it is the same silky satin build as the rest of the Red by Kiss line. The face of the fabric is smooth, so hair slides across it instead of catching, and it is non-porous, which means the oils and moisturiser you worked in before bed stay on your hair rather than migrating into the cloth. That is the entire argument for satin over a cotton scarf or a bare pillowcase.
Compression is the other half of the job. Pull it so the pressure runs evenly from the hairline back to the nape rather than tight across the forehead and slack at the crown. Even pressure lays hair in one direction and lets a 360 pattern deepen night after night instead of resetting. Give it half an hour after brushing rather than throwing it on cold.

Application tips
One size means the fit comes from the ties, not the cut. Pull the panel down to just above the brows, smooth it flat with your palm so no fold prints a line into the hair, then wrap the tails round and knot them behind. Tie it a notch looser than feels right at first. Satin has almost no stretch, and a tight knot for eight hours leaves a mark on the forehead.
Results
Hair stays put, and that is most of it. A brushed pattern is still lying the same way when you take the durag off in the morning.
Fewer tangles, because nothing has been pressed against cotton all night. Whatever you put in is still doing its work rather than sitting in the bedding, and braids and twists come out tidy at the edges instead of fuzzed.
