Application tips
The pineapple is the method for curls. Tip your head forward, gather everything loosely at the very top, and tie the scarf around the base of it so the length sits free above the knot.
Braids and twists get folded up and wrapped instead. Either way, put the knot above the nape rather than on it, so you are not lying on a hard lump for eight hours.
Results
Curls come through the night with their pattern intact instead of crushed on the side you slept on, which buys a couple of extra days between washes.
