The 354 ml Profectiv Mega Growth Detangling Conditioner is built for the second job. It smooths the cuticle so a wide-tooth comb passes without catching, and it carries a blend of oils and proteins that firm up the strand as it goes. Tugging is what breaks hair, so the less resistance you meet at this stage of wash day, the more length survives the week. It suits dry, tangle-prone hair across curl types 2a to 4a. Apply after shampoo, comb through from the ends upwards while the conditioner is still in, then rinse. Do not be sparing with it. A detangling conditioner spread too thin is the usual reason people decide a product has no slip.
