The formula pairs strengthening proteins with shea butter, olive oil and avocado oil, so it firms up the strand and moisturises it in the same pass. That balance matters, because protein on its own leaves hair stiff and oil on its own leaves it soft but weak. On weak, brittle hair, manageability improves within a few days, mostly because there is less resistance when you comb.
