Application tips
Tear the length you need off the roll and fold a lip along one short edge, which is what stops the foil slipping off the section mid-application.
Weave or slice the section, sit it on the foil, apply the colour, then fold in thirds and press the edges closed. Keep the roll in its box so the end does not crumple. A hundred millimetres suits most head sizes without trimming.
Results
The foil holds a fold and does not tear when you press an edge down, which is where cheaper rolls fail and colour ends up on the wrong section.
Heat stays where it should, so processing runs even from the first packet to the last. Two hundred and fifty metres is a working roll rather than a retail one, and the silver finish looks right in a salon photograph.
