The Poppy and Ivy curler uses a soft silicone pad instead of a firm one. The lash presses into it rather than against it, so the bend spreads along the hair and comes out as a curve. Silicone is also gentler on the lash itself, which matters if you curl daily.
Standard professional width, so it fits most eye shapes across the full lash line rather than missing the outer corners. The handles are shaped to be squeezed without your fingers slipping, which is the other half of a clean curl.
Use it before mascara, never after. Two or three gentle presses, working from the root outward, beats one hard clamp every time.

Application tips
Clean, dry lashes and a curler at room temperature.
Open the jaws, bring them up to the lash line so the pad sits right against the root without pinching the lid, and close slowly. Hold for a count of five, release, move a few millimetres up the lash and repeat to the tips. Mascara goes on last. Wipe the pad after each use and replace it when it hardens.
Results
Lashes lift into a curve that opens the eye without the shelf-like kink a hard clamp leaves. The curl holds through a working day and survives mascara going on over the top.
Short lashes gain the most, since the lift is what makes them visible from the front. The frame fits a standard eye across the full lash line, so the outer corners are not left flat.
