Application tips
One wash is usually enough here, because it does not strip. Get the hair wet, use a small amount at the scalp, and let the lather carry down the lengths on its way to the drain.
Scrubbing the ends is unnecessary and it tangles them. If you have used a lot of oil, do a quick first pass and rinse before the real one. Condition afterwards.
Results
The hair does not squeak. There is enough left on it after rinsing that a comb goes through while it is still wet, which is when damaged hair is most likely to snap.
Dry, it looks less dull and the ends are softer than a normal shampoo leaves them. It lathers modestly rather than foaming up, which is what a formula this gentle looks like.
