Parachute Advansed Coconut & Onion Anti-Hairfall Shampoo Helps Reduce Hair Fall 340 ml/11.5 oz
Onion in a shampoo sounds odd until you have used one. It is a common ingredient in South Asian hair care and the finished product does not smell of it. Here it sits alongside coconut in a paraben-free wash.
The anti-hairfall label needs reading carefully. What a cosmetic shampoo can affect is the hair you lose to breakage, the strands that snap partway down because they are dry and weak. Keep the hair conditioned and fewer of them break, so less comes away in the comb. Hair falling from the root is a different matter and not something any shampoo addresses.
- Cleanses the scalp and lifts away oil and residue
- Coconut and onion in a paraben-free formula
- Aimed at breakage, which is the fall a shampoo can influence
Massage it into a wet scalp for a minute or two, then rinse until it is fully out. The bottle holds 340 ml. If you are shedding heavily from the root, speak to a pharmacist rather than switching shampoos.

Application tips
Detangle before you get in the shower. Shampoo travels through loose hair and tugs at knotted hair, and tugging is where fragile strands give way.
Once wet, keep the product at the scalp and massage with the pads of the fingers, never the nails. Let the lather clear the lengths as it runs off. Rinse until the water is completely clear, then condition the ends. Comb from the bottom upwards.
Results
Roots come up clean and the scalp feels settled rather than tight, which is most of what any wash can do for it.
Strands feel firmer between the fingers, and less comes away in the comb afterwards, because conditioned hair bends where dry hair snaps. Across several weeks that shows up as ends holding their line instead of thinning out, so the length you grew stays on your head.
Composition
- Coconut
- Conditions the lengths so they bend under a comb instead of snapping
- Onion
- Works at the roots, supporting the feel of stronger strands
The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
