Application tips
Wet through, then lather in two stages. Put the first lot on the scalp alone and rinse it away, then use the second to work down the lengths with the hair gathered in one hand.
Castor rinses more slowly than a plain shampoo, so keep going until the hair squeaks slightly under the fingers. Condition afterwards from the mid-lengths down, particularly if your ends are coloured.
Results
The wash leaves hair softer than a basic shampoo manages, with a smoothness you can feel while it is still wet.
Body is the other change. Hair that had gone limp lifts at the root once build-up is off it, so it reads fuller. Lengths look glossier under light and comb out with less effort. Nothing is left sitting on the scalp, which keeps the roots clean for longer between washes.
