Application tips
Squeeze the hair out over the bath first. Conditioner meeting hair that is still streaming gets diluted before it can do anything.
A palmful for shoulder length, more if your hair is dense, smoothed down the shaft in the direction the hair grows rather than rubbed in circles. Comb it through while it is still on. Then leave it while you wash the rest of you, and rinse cool.
Results
Wet hair stops fighting the comb, and since that is where most snapping happens, more of your length survives the week.
Dry, the ends feel softer and look less matte. Fine hair keeps its movement rather than going limp, because the conditioning sits on the surface instead of loading the strand. After a few weeks the ends stay tidy for longer between trims.
