Application tips
Shampoo first and wring the water out properly. A mask spread over soaking hair mostly runs down the drain.
Work it through in four sections, ends upwards, then twist each section up and leave it while you finish washing. A cap or a warm towel over the top helps. Rinse until the hair stops feeling coated. Once a week is enough, since protein-rich treatments used at every wash can leave fragile hair feeling stiff instead of soft.
Results
The change shows up in substance more than shine. Strands that felt thin and papery between the fingers come out with some body to them, and a comb meets far less resistance on the way down.
Frizz lies closer to the head because the surface is more even. Colour-treated lengths look less faded and matte. You notice it most the following day, when the hair has dried and still holds its shape rather than going brittle by the evening.
