Week two of a protective style is usually when the roots start to feel tight and dry, and a spray reaches them in a way a butter or a cream cannot. This one is non-aerosol, so you can aim it at the parting rather than coating the hair around it.
Coconut oil carries the moisture, peppermint and eucalyptus oils give it a cool, clean feel on the skin, and vitamin E rounds out the conditioning. Spray onto the scalp or roots, massage it in with your fingertips, and leave it. Hair feels lighter afterwards rather than greasy, which is why it also works as a quick refresh before styling on a non-wash day.

Application tips
Part the hair first, then aim the nozzle straight at the exposed scalp rather than misting over the top of a style. Two or three short bursts per section is enough.
Follow with the pads of your fingers, moving in small circles so it spreads along the parting instead of pooling. Use it on braids, twists or loose hair, between washes, and no rinsing is needed afterwards.
Results
The peppermint and eucalyptus land first, cool and sharp, and that sensation fades within a couple of minutes.
What is left is a scalp that feels comfortable rather than tight, which is what a spray like this is for two weeks into braids. Roots feel moisturised without going greasy or flat. Hair smells clean afterwards, and the spray dries down quickly enough that you can style straight away.
