Application tips
The whole 60g pack is one treatment, so squeeze it all out rather than saving half for next time.
Work it in with the hair sectioned, coating from the ends up and skipping the roots unless the damage runs the whole way. A plastic cap and a warm room speed it up. Rinse thoroughly, then finish with a moisturising conditioner, because protein on its own leaves hair firm.
Results
Over-processed hair stops feeling mushy when wet, which is the sign the protein has landed. Strands hold together through a comb instead of shedding in clumps.
The coconut side keeps the finish soft rather than crunchy, so curls come back with bounce rather than a board-like feel. Scent is heavy on coconut and rinses out cleanly. Repeat weekly at most, since protein used too often stiffens hair rather than strengthening it.
