Its job is straightforward. It seals moisture into dry, textured hair, brings a low shine back to strands that look dull, and gives a tight, dry scalp a more comfortable feel. On coils it also makes parting and plaiting easier, because it adds slip where hair wants to catch.

Application tips
A hairdress is for the scalp and the roots as much as the lengths, so part the hair in rows and work a small amount along each parting.
Massage with fingertips, then draw whatever is left down the section. Every second or third day is enough. Skip it entirely on the day you plan to wash.
