Application tips
Rows first: clip the hair up and take clean partings about an inch apart, working from the front back. A few drops per row is the correct dose, and the temptation to pour more is where greasy roots come from.
Press it in with the pads of two fingers, then cover with a bonnet for an hour or overnight.
Results
The scalp feels comfortable rather than coated, which is the difference between a scalp oil and a hair oil used in the wrong place. Roots keep their lift.
Hair nearest the parting stops feeling dry and rough, the surface picks up a soft shine, and flyaways along the crown settle without anything being brushed.
