Olive oil is the active part. It forms a thin protective layer around each strand, which does two useful things at once: it smooths the cuticle so frizz, flyaways and static settle down, and it reduces the damage that comes from blow-dryers and flat irons. The 6 oz bottle is aimed at textured, relaxed and natural hair, where dullness and heat exposure tend to arrive together.
Apply a small amount to dry, finished hair, working through the mid-lengths and ends. The shine it leaves reads as healthy rather than wet or artificial, and the hair keeps its bounce. Suits 2a through 3c. Use it after heat styling, not instead of a heat protectant.

Application tips
Two or three drops is the ceiling here, and more than that turns shine into grease in seconds. Rub it flat across both palms until they barely feel wet, then skim over the surface of a finished style.
A boar bristle brush will carry what is left through the mid-lengths. Top up on the ends only, never at the roots.
Results
Dull hair picks up light within seconds, and the shine sits on the surface without the wet, lacquered look a heavier oil gives.
Static drops away, flyaways settle back into the style, and split ends stop catching the eye. Curls and waves keep their bounce, because there is no weight in it to pull the shape down.
