Children's textured hair dries out between wash days faster than an adult's, mostly because it gets handled, slept on and restyled more. ORS made this lotion for that gap: a light moisturiser for the scalp and the lengths that makes the next comb through easier rather than another argument.
Coconut, safflower, castor and olive oils carry the moisture. The result is slip, which is what actually gets a comb through a knot, plus enough softness that the hair holds a neat finish without going stiff. It does not flatten the curl pattern, so waves, curls and coils keep their own character.

Application tips
Work in partings rather than all over, since a lotion this thin will disappear if you tip it onto a whole head at once.
A few drops per parting, spread with the fingertips along the scalp, then the rest smoothed down the section. Best done the night before school, with the hair plaited afterwards so the moisture stays put.
