Children's hair goes dry faster than adults expect, and the shampoo is usually where the trouble starts. This one is formulated for that: a mild cleanse for dry textured hair that leaves enough softness behind to face a comb without a fight.
The conditioning side comes from glycerin, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hydrolysed collagen and panthenol. Together they add slip and keep the hair feeling soft rather than squeaky, which is what makes detangling manageable afterwards. Curls, coils and waves keep their shape, and the wash does not flatten the pattern out.
Use it on wet hair, massage it gently into the scalp, work it down the lengths and rinse. Repeat only if the hair is genuinely dirty. Follow with a conditioner or a detangler.
Suits 2A to 4C, and the 13 oz bottle lasts a while at a child's hair length.

Application tips
Detangle before the hair goes anywhere near water, because a shampoo will not undo knots and a wet knot is worse than a dry one.
Wet thoroughly, then a small amount at the scalp only, massaged with flat fingertips. Let the suds run down. One wash is usually enough on a child. Rinse longer than feels necessary, then condition.
