Behentrimonium methosulfate is the ingredient you feel first. It gives the conditioner enough slip that a comb travels through wet hair instead of dragging, and dragging is where most wash day breakage starts. Coconut oil softens dry lengths, ceramide NG helps the surface of the strand feel more resilient, and hydrolysed collagen leaves hair feeling fuller rather than flattened.
Work it through damp hair after shampooing, roots to ends. A few minutes does the job on an ordinary wash day. Under gentle heat it goes further, which is worth the extra time when hair has been feeling rough or tangling more than usual.
