Twenty ounces is a lot of deep conditioner, and that tells you how ORS expects it to be used: generously, and often, on hair that drinks whatever you give it. Max Moisture Deep Treatment Conditioner is aimed at the wash day where detangling has quietly become the hardest part of the routine.
Behentrimonium methosulfate is the ingredient you feel first. It gives the conditioner enough slip that a comb travels through wet hair instead of dragging, and dragging is where most wash day breakage starts. Coconut oil softens dry lengths, ceramide NG helps the surface of the strand feel more resilient, and hydrolysed collagen leaves hair feeling fuller rather than flattened.
Work it through damp hair after shampooing, roots to ends. A few minutes does the job on an ordinary wash day. Under gentle heat it goes further, which is worth the extra time when hair has been feeling rough or tangling more than usual.

Application tips
Squeeze the water out first. Conditioner sliding off a dripping section is wasted, and a jar this big tempts people to overfill their palm anyway.
Four sections, a generous handful in each, smoothed down the shaft and never rubbed into the roots. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb while it is still slippery, clip the section away, and rinse cool once all four are done.
Results
Rinsed out, the hair should feel coated but not slippery to the point of squeaking. Rough patches along the mid-lengths soften, knots loosen rather than needing to be picked apart, and the ends stop looking dusty.
Volume holds. Nothing here flattens a coil against the head, which is a common trade-off with rich conditioners of this weight.
