ORS build this dress around jojoba oil, chosen for a specific reason: its make-up is close to the sebum a scalp produces on its own, so it reads as familiar rather than as a coating sitting on top.
On the hair it hydrates and adds a clean shine without the heaviness heavier oils leave behind, and it settles frizz on the surface so the strand looks smoother in daylight. On the scalp it eases the dry, tight feeling that comes with braids, weaves and winter. The bottle is 5.5 oz.
It works across natural, relaxed, braided and chemically treated hair, type 2a to 3c, which is a wider brief than most dressings manage. The reason is the weight. Light enough not to flatten a loose wave, present enough to be felt on a coarse strand.
Apply to the scalp in parts, then run what is left through the lengths and down to the ends.
