Apply to damp hair after washing and leave it in. Work through the mid-lengths and ends first, since that is where the dryness usually lives, then take whatever is left up towards the roots. Best on hair that reads as brittle rather than merely dry.

Application tips
This is a wet-hair product and a generous one. Section soaking hair into four, work a palmful through each quarter from ends to roots, and squeeze it in rather than raking.
Very dry hair can take a second layer once the first has settled. Do not rinse. On dry hair mid-week, dampen a section with water first so it has something to spread on.
Results
Straw-dry hair comes back to something pliable within a couple of uses. The strands feel padded rather than coated, and the sound changes: hair that rustled goes quiet.
Frizz drops because the hair is no longer pulling moisture out of the air. Expect a soft finish with some weight to it, which suits thick, coarse and very dry textures and will be too much for fine hair.
