Lemon extract is the brightening ingredient and it works gently. This is not a toner and it will not correct a yellow cast, so if brassiness is the problem you want a purple conditioner instead. What it does is lift the brightness of highlights that have dulled down and keep the tone looking sunlit rather than beige. Underneath that, it behaves like any good conditioner. Detangles, moisturises, leaves the hair soft.

Apply through wet hair after shampooing and rinse thoroughly. The 385ml bottle lasts a while at a few washes a week.
